What the carbon figures mean

Fossil CO₂ is released from coal, gas, LPG and oil. Wood and charcoal show biogenic CO₂ separately: it still enters the atmosphere at the chimney, while regrowth and sourcing determine the longer-term climate effect. Supply-chain CO₂e estimates processing and transport.

Combustion safety
