Accessibility Statement
We want Calcurly.com’s calculators and information to be usable by as many people as possible, across devices and assistive technologies.
Effective and last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Our commitment
We aim to follow recognised accessibility practices, including relevant Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA principles where reasonably possible. Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time certification.
2. Measures we take
- Semantic headings, labels, landmarks, and descriptive link or button names.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, dialogs, and calculator controls.
- Visible focus indicators and sufficient colour contrast using the site design system.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and different screen sizes.
- Text alternatives for meaningful imagery and status messages where applicable.
- Reduced-motion preferences for non-essential animation.
- Accessible error messages and focus return for interactive dialogs.
3. Known limitations
Some third-party advertisements, merchant pages, course content, maps, authentication screens, or embedded services are outside our control. Dense charts, mathematical notation, generated AI text, or older calculator content may not always provide an equivalent experience. Embedded calculators can also be affected by the host website’s design and accessibility.
4. Assistance and feedback
If a feature is difficult to use, email hello@calcurly.com. Include the page or calculator, what you were trying to do, the barrier, and your browser or assistive technology if comfortable sharing it. We will try to provide the information in an alternative format and prioritise a reasonable fix.
5. Compatibility
Calcurly.com is designed for current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies. Very old browsers, disabled scripting, unusual browser extensions, or third-party content may reduce functionality. We welcome reports that help us improve compatibility.
6. Formal concerns
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have a right to contact the accessibility or equality body responsible in your country. Nothing in this statement limits rights available under applicable accessibility law.
