Cookie Policy
You control optional analytics and advertising technologies. Necessary storage keeps core site features secure and working.
Effective and last updated: 1 October 2026
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. We may also use local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, and similar identifiers. This policy calls them all “cookies” for simplicity.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent records, saved region, and essential preferences. These cannot be disabled through our controls because the requested service may not work without them.
- Analytics: page and calculator usage, performance, error measurement, referral information, and whether prefetched content made a feature feel instant. We ask for consent where required.
- Advertising: ad delivery, frequency, measurement, audience building, and personalised advertising. Advertising partners may recognise a browser across services if you consent or local law otherwise permits.
- Affiliate and sponsor measurement: records that a link or banner was displayed or selected, campaign parameters, and merchant attribution. A merchant or affiliate network may set its own cookie after you leave Calcurly.com.
3. Your choices
In GDPR and UK GDPR locations, optional categories remain off until you consent. In applicable US states, you can opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Elsewhere, controls are offered for transparency. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, but may also break sign-in, preferences, embeds, or other features.
After selecting the button, the consent panel will appear so you can make a new choice.
4. Retention
Session technologies expire when the session ends. Persistent technologies last only as long as needed for their stated purpose or until deleted. Third parties set their own durations. Consent choices are retained so we can honour them and may be refreshed when the policy or technology changes.
5. Third-party responsibility
Embedded calculators may run within another website. That website is responsible for its own consent notices and any technologies it adds. When you follow an advert or affiliate link, the destination’s privacy and cookie policies apply.
6. Global Privacy Control
Where legally required and technically available, we treat a recognised Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for that browser. A browser signal does not replace account-level requests that require identity verification.
7. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to privacy@calcurly.com. See the Privacy & GDPR Policy for further rights.
