Calculator & AI Disclaimer
Calculators and AI can help you plan, but they can make mistakes. Never use an output as the sole basis for a safety-critical, regulated, or expensive decision.
Effective and last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Calculator limitations
Every result is an estimate based on the values, units, formulas, assumptions, defaults, and product data shown. Real jobs are affected by waste, tolerances, surface condition, openings, access, labour productivity, weather, taxes, delivery, local pricing, code requirements, and manufacturer instructions. Rounding or conversion differences may matter.
2. AI can be wrong
The AI Finder interprets natural-language descriptions and recommends calculators or explains how to use them. Generative AI can misunderstand your problem, omit facts, invent details, select the wrong tool, or give confident but inaccurate instructions. Its output is generated automatically and may not have been reviewed by a person. Do not assume a recommendation is complete, current, or suitable for your country.
3. No professional relationship
Using Calcurly.com does not create a professional-client, contractor-customer, fiduciary, advisory, or agency relationship. Content is not a substitute for a qualified engineer, architect, surveyor, electrician, plumber, mechanic, accountant, tax adviser, lawyer, doctor, safety professional, or other licensed expert.
4. Safety and regulated work
Do not rely solely on Calcurly.com for structural capacity, electrical protection, gas work, pressure systems, hazardous substances, medical dosing, financial suitability, legal compliance, vehicle safety, lifting, fire protection, or any life-safety decision. Stop and obtain professional review where an error could cause injury, death, environmental harm, code breach, financial loss, or property damage.
5. Costs, products, and local data
Prices, labour rates, currencies, tax assumptions, availability, coverage, cookie durations, and merchant offers can change without notice. A cheaper material may require more coats, labour, preparation, waste, fixings, or maintenance and may cost more overall. Verify quantities and specifications with the manufacturer and supplier before purchase.
